The Iron Doors And The Gate Are What Sold Me

Home and Garden March 16th, 2010

I have been looking for a new house and think that I found it last night. This has been the longest six weeks of my life. I must have looked at over thirty homes and none of them seemed quite right till now. In fact, I actually thought about passing this one up, because my real estate agent told me that they were not fond of the outside of the house. I decided to check it out anyway and when I pulled up, I loved the outside.

There were iron doors on the front of the house and a matching iron gate that you had to enter the property through. I loved the fact that it reminded me of my grandparents house when I was a little girl. The iron doors and the iron gate were both in need of a good cleaning and a paint job, but I knew that they could look better.

My only hope now was that the inside was as appealing to me as the outside. I knew that this house was in my price range and the location was perfect, to work and town. When I walked through the iron gate and entered the iron doors, I knew that this was going to be my house.
