The plan to sell diamonds for emergency purposes
I can still remember how my husband proposed marriage to me twenty years ago. On his bended knees, he handed this small box wrapped in a purple lace. As I start to open it, I got teary eyed and I saw this sparkling diamond. It was solitaire diamond cut, a single diamond set on a ring, simple yet so elegant. He then asked me to marry him as he gently slips the ring in my finger.
Then there was an incident where my husband and I needed money fast. Then I told him if it’s okay to sell engagement ring since I don’t wear it anymore. It was a difficult decision but we are running out of time and we can’t think of other options. So we both decided to sell it.
Luckily, my mother-in-law knows someone who buys diamond. She said that if we really want to, she will accompany me to her friends who sell diamond jewelry. And after our transaction, I was really thankful that we got a good price in selling my engagement ring. It was not a lost for me but I know that there are reasons for everything.
