Dvd In The Life Of A Printer

Advertising December 28th, 2007

My name is Jack, and I am a professional printer. I print everything ranging from leaflets to billboards. All through my career I’ve dealt with big size images. Every since the dawning of the digital age in the world of printing, we’ve had to deal with huge size image files. And always the limitation had been the storage medium.

Now with the advent of DVD discs, our problem has largely been addressed. E.g., to print a magazine, we usually have to carry around data ranging anything from 2-3 GBs. Earlier, we had to carry around such data in chunks in multiple CDs. But now we just carry 1 or 2 DVD discs. Using recordable dvds, which are easily available in the market, and a dvd copy software, we write our data on the discs. Although dvd burning process takes considerable time, but overall its very efficient and cost effective way of data transport.

Although many DVd burning software are available in the market, I prefer those which have built in disc-verification facility, for me any such software is the best dvd copying software

Overall, till now DVDs have created lot of ease in our field of work. They facilitate large data to be carried around without adding too much luggage.
